Law360, a subscription-based online publication for corporate attorneys and government regulators

Feature reporter, April 2016 to present
Senior reporter for product liability law, March 2014 to April 2016
General assignment reporter, September 2011 to February 2014

I write for Law360 In-Depth, a magazine section launched in June 2016. I’ve written features about sexual harassment at corporate law firms, Justice Neil Gorsuch’s nomination to the U.S. Supreme Court, and how recent Supreme Court cases have undermined class actions and changed the way plaintiffs firms pursue these cases. I also broke the story about White House counsel Don McGahn and former White House chief of staff Reince Priebus hiring Quinn Emanuel to represent them in special counsel Bob Mueller’s Russia investigation.

As the senior product liability reporter at Law360, I led our daily coverage of federal regulation and civil and criminal lawsuits against defendants in the automotive, pharmaceutical and tobacco industries. I extensively covered the 2014 General Motors ignition switch recall and its first federal bellwether trial over the defective switches.

I’ve covered trials, oral arguments and congressional hearings, as well as breaking news including major announcements from federal agencies including the FDA and NHTSA.

Awards and Honors

My coverage of sexual harassment at corporate law firms was part of a Law360 package on “sexual harassment and pay disparity in the legal industry” that was a finalist in the 2016 Deadline Club awards in May 2017, organized by the New York City chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists. My feature story also won an in-house editorial award for best In-Depth feature in 2016.

My story on how the first GM ignition switch trial was scuttled mid-trial won an in-house editorial award for best court reporting in 2016.
